Probable cause car search

Pennsylvania recently changed their law to allow police to search a car without a warrant.

Isn't this the case already in Texas?

Yes txchl40, up until this court decision, Pennsylvania had more of a burden for police officers to meet in order to search vehicles. Unfortunately, Texas has never had such protection. A police officer may search a vehicle upon developing probable cause that there is evidence of a crime inside the vehicle.
