My chl is in Tx, I am flying to AZ.  How can I take my gun with me and can I carry in AZ?

Your airline will have specific instructions about how you transport your firearm. I believe there are some slight differences between airlines so check with them. Southwest wasn't too difficult. Firearm in luggage in locked container with ammunition in seperate box - declared when you check in. Like I said, they will have a specific set of guidelines that you need to follow closely.

I made this same trip two months ago.

Check your airline. Each are slightly different. I allowed 90 minutes instead of the usual 60 for check in.

You can carry pretty much anywhere in AZ. Don't drink in a bar if you carry. You can carry openly. Be careful if you go on an Indian reservation. They have their own rules.
