Conceal Carry at the rodeo or fair?
« on: September 01, 2015, 10:40:42 AM »
Can you conceal carry at a rodeo or fair?  Obviously if there is a legal sign posted that's different, but otherwise are we allowed to? I looked at all my information and was not sure if a rodeo fell into the "sporting event" category.

Thank you!

It is a professional sporting event. It is generally considered so if there is money being made by the participants.

At the State Fair, when they go to wand you, politely decline and ask to speak to a supervisor. They'll direct you to a DPD officer who will ask you for your license, tell you not to go in the Cotton Bowl, and tell you to have a nice day.
