30.06/30.07 at municipal gun range?
« on: December 16, 2015, 03:48:48 PM »
Is a city owned and operated gun range allowed to post 30.06/30.07 signs? This would be to insure safety, to prevent customers from violating established safety protocols.

Understanding that it is illegal for government properties to post the signage if not otherwise prohibited, is there something that would allow them to do this?

No.  Only at gov meetings (and hospitals). :)  that means they are going to have to quit posting most gun shows. :)

John Fernandez,

As you have pointed out, the only time a premises owned or leased by a governmental entity does not fall into the exclusion from 30.06 is when the premises is contained within 46.03 or 46.035. There are no other alternate avenues that would allow this range to put up a 30.06 sign.

Thank you for your question.
