Since there is now open carry in the state of Texas is there still such a thing as printing and can i wear my holstered gun with my jacket over it with the bottom of the pistol sticking out?

Might check this - Topic: Does "printing" matter once open carry goes into effect? - where TLS gave an answer.

mag3kcom,

Printing is not a legal term and is not actually a crime. In reference to the question above, when worn so that part of the firearm is exposed, be aware that this would be considered open carry and consequently must comply with the required belt or shoulder holster.

Thank you for your question.
