Bail bond coverage
« on: September 12, 2014, 05:48:59 AM »
When I joined Texas Law Shield I signed up for the bail bond coverage as well.  I have not been able to find much discussion or explanation of how this coverage works.  Could the lawyers explain what is covered and how it works?  Thanks.

A little disappointed there has been no response to this question.  I can't be the only one interested in this - surely.

yabu,

The bail bond coverage is very simple.  In the event that you are arrested, the TLS program attorneys will contact the bail bondsman in the county where you were arrested and the bail bondsmanís fee is covered for any bond amounts up to $25,000.  To be clear, the maximum amount of the bail bond covered is $25,000, this does not mean that up to $25,000 in bond fees are covered.  The bondsman will require that the member and/or his guarantor fill out the required forms and applications at the bondsmanís office, this is required for all persons on bond regardless of who pays the bondsmanís fee.

Thank you for your question.

Hey ! If anyone some how got arrested and didn't find the way to get bail, you must go through the bail bond coverage process and you will find the bail bond agents there whose service charge starts from  $1000 to $5000 depends upon the case. if someone let me know more about this i am surely going to have this information about the coverage.

Great question Ace!

Each state regulates this type of coverage differently. We are currently researching the bail bond regulations in Colorado. We are in the process of adding bail bond coverage in Oklahoma right now and hope to add Colorado in the next couple of months.
