We live in a rural area, and pick up most of our mail at a community mail box, Would that be considered USPS "Property"?

spanman,

As you know, you cannot carry into a “Federal Facility” (the post office) nor the parking lot or other property (per USPS regulations). If this community mail box is in a post office parking lot, then you may not carry while you get your mail. If the community mail box is in some random parking lot, or on property not owned by the USPS, then you should be fine to carry there. If it is a random field, and you don’t know if it is owned by USPS, then it is certainly worth looking at who owns the land to make sure you’re legal.

Thank you for your question.
