« on: April 30, 2017, 06:54:06 PM »
Hello,
Been member a little while now. First post, actually a question so here go's.
Looking into hunting property in NY STATE.  Not being a resident how do you transport your firearms?? I am having a hard time finding clear information.
Also how do you apply and what is the best way to apply for a CCW. I presently have a CCW in PA.

He Crow,

This is a complex issue that can depend on the area in which the property is located, the type of hunting, the time of year, how often you stay at the property, the type of firearm, and many other factors. Please call in to speak with your program attorney so they may better assist your specific situation. Thank you.

Might be a bit further, He Crow, but would be a lot less hassle to get hunting property in Texas  :)

Avoid the 5 boroughs (Manhattan,Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island) of NY at any cost with any type of firearm as they have different laws than upstate NY.
