Carry at Lake Grapevine DFW

I like to walk around the trails at lake grapevine in the north DFW area.

There are signs (not 30.06) posted at the entrances that say No Firearms.

I have read that these signs have force of law because the property is US Army Corps of Engineers land (federal property).

I can't find any recent information on this topic. Please help!

UncleJerr,

Unfortunately each district has their own firearm policy; being able to carry on Army Corps of Engineers land will require you to contact the District Commander and receive permission (or convincing them to change their policy).

Thank you for your question.
