Multi State Travel

I will be driving to St Louis from Texas and was wondering if there were any specific states i should be concerned about while traveling with my gun and/or any specific Mi laws i should be aware of?

I'm guessing you have a carry permit.
Oklahoma is friendly. We live on the free side of America here.
Just let an officer know if you are contacted for any reason. I prefer to hear "I have a carry permit" rather than stating "I have a gun" because that key word could be all a second officer hears ya know.
Business' will have signs etc.
Common sense goes a long ways.
