Carrying a gun in a car without a CHL.
« on: February 23, 2015, 01:10:54 PM »
I have a CHL but my wife does not. Sometimes I will leave a handgun in the glove box of my car when it is locked and parked in my garage. If my wife was to use my car for an errand should she tell a police officer that there is a gun in the car if she gets pulled over for something?

May I suggest that you place this question in the "Ask the Lawyers" section?  You will need a response from the pros here  on this one.  Also, tell them the specific jurisdiction (state) where this might happen.

Congoharry is correct but why not get her license and just avoid an issue?
