Securing firearms in a medical emergency
« on: May 02, 2019, 10:44:10 AM »
I am a Florida resident. Can a US Lawshield attorney give an opinion about how to secure one's firearm at the scene of a traffic accident when medical transport is required?
Is law enforcement required to assist by securing your firearm? How does one get it back?
It does not seem wise to depend on ambulance medics to find it, and then turn it in to hospital secutity.
Do you know of any examples where this has happened, and the firearm owner had difficulty recovering his property?
