Would US LawShield cover this situation?
« on: August 19, 2019, 11:55:51 AM »
I'll post a link to this story out of Florida but basically a man with a CCW in Florida had his CCW revoked and his firearms seized by the Sheriff's office because his name matched the name of an alleged drug dealer who threatened a woman renting a room from that drug dealer.

The CCW holder's name matched the drug dealer exactly but other than being white, they did not look alike. He will have to wait for a day in court and then petition to have his firearms returned from the Sheriff. All of this without him ever having a run in with the law, or being in court, NO DUE PROCESS! This is based on the red flag law passed in Florida in 2018.

Really disappointed in this answer. Guess the forum has changed in the last few months since you can go back and find many instances where questions about legal coverage were asked and answered. Might need to rename this section.
